Char Dham Yatra is a tour of the four Hindu shrines namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. These shrines are located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. The holy river Yamuna originates from Yamunotri, Maa Ganga from Gangotri, Mandakani from Kedarnath and Alakhnanda, Saraswati from Badrinath ji. Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva in India which is considered to be the main places of worship of Lord Shiva.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 : Haridwar to barkot
(210 KMS/7-8 HRS)
Reach Delhi to Haridwar and drive to Barkot via Mussoorie.
En route, visit Mussoorie Lake and Kempty Fall in Mussoorie.
Later, drive straight to Barkot. When you arrive in Barkot, check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Barkot.
Day 2 : barkot to yamnotri
(36Kms. / Drive and 06 Kms Trek One Side)
Drive to Jankichatti or Phoolchatti in the morning after breakfast.
Start your trek from here to Yamunotri (6 km) (either by walk, by horse, or by Doli
Take a bath in the warm waters of Surya Kund (Hot Spring) after arriving in Yamunotri. Yamunaji darshan completes the trek back to Jankichatti.
Later, drive towards Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.
Day 3 : barkot to uttarkashi
(90 Kms, /04 Hrs. Drive)
Morning after breakfast, relax for a while. Later drive to Uttarkashi.
Visit Shivgufa on the way to Uttarkashi.
In Uttarkashi visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. After that, check in hotel. Day free for rest.
Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 4 : uttarkashi – gangotri – uttarkashi
(100 Kms. each side)
Morning after breakfast, relax for a while. Later drive to Uttarkashi.
Visit Shivgufa on the way to Uttarkashi.
In Uttarkashi visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. After that, check in hotel. Day free for rest.
Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 5 : uttarkashi to guptkashi
(223 Kms./09 Hrs. Drive)
Early morning after delicious breakfast drive to Guptkashi. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara.
The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi.
Check into the hotel arrival in Guptkashi. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.
Day 6 : guptkashi-sonprayag-kedarnath-guptkashi
(27 Kms. Drive)
Morning after breakfast, today we will go to Kedarnath.
To reach Kedarnath you will have two options. One if by trekking and other is by Air via Helicopter.
Overnight stay at Guptkashi.
By Helicopter: Morning our driver will transfer you to your Helipad location (Phata, Guptkashi, Sirsi etc) as per helicopter ticket time. Kindly inform the driver timings of helicopter mentioned on the ticket previous day. Different aviation has different location for their helicopter service. Our driver will provide you both pick and drop to hotel to Helipad. At arrival in Kedarnath reach Kedarnath Temple. Visit Kedarnath Temple. After darshan return to the helipad. Take return flight. Our driver will pick up you from helipad and take you to your hotel.
Day 7 : guptkashi – rudraprayag – badrinath
(245 Kms./08 Hrs. Drive)
In the morning, depart for Badrinath, stopping in Joshimath to visit Narsingh Temple and Adi Shankracharya Math before continuing on to Badrinath.
Take the holy darshan upon arrival and spend time exploring Mana village, the last village before the Tibetan border, Byas Gufa, Bheem Pul, and the Saraswati River.
Overnight stay here.
Day 8 : badrinath – joshimath – rudraprayag
(160kms/7Hrs Drive One Way)
After breakfast, depart for Rudraprayag via Joshimath.
Visit the Narsingh Temple in Joshimath on the way, and then return to Rudraprayag via Joshimath.
Check into the hotel upon arrival in Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
Day 9 : rudraprayag to haridwar
(150 Km)
Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel.
Transfer to Haridwar. On the way, visit places like Karnprayag, Devprayag etc.
Reach Haridwar by late evening where you will end this memorable religious journey.
